2 goals scored by Italy... and yet it's 1-1...
hehe yep they scored on their own goal so they scored for the usa...hmm they are good :)
*beep* second red card for usa (a bad red should of been a yellow)... and yes now im at more then a few pints and on my way home.

It was a yellow. But it was his second one...
wasn't it going to be his second..i lost track...well anyways it sucks to take so many out on red cards...9 on 10 usa is never going to score with 9, but atleast the still have subs unlike Italy. yay beer bombs :D
both teams where a little overly aggressive and with the refs being...themselves... but it was still a nice game, draw. :P GG

The coverage in the US is complete crap. I watched the entire first half on Mexican television before any US cable/over-the-air channel was showing it. They then had the audacity to claim it was live after the game had already been going for an hour. It's almost as bad as giving Mastroeni a red card for a late tackle.
I can't even imagine the riots that would ensue and how many TV executives would be put to death in the UK (or anywhere in Europe) for putting the game on a hour delay and then claim it's live.

There was red and yellow flying all over the place in that game.
I believe Eric Wynalda said it best when he said, "Players win games, coaches lose them, and refs ruin them." How fitting.

Holland! Holland! Holland!
I haven't seen USA vs Italy, but I've heard it was a bit disappointing. Ghana vs Czechia, now that was a nice match to watch. That poor Czech keeper didn't have any minute for himself :p
this morning we saw some of japan vs..someone (Croatia?) dont know wasn't paying much attention, and now Aus, vs bra.. Brazil 1-0 but since around the 60 minute mark it looks like Aus. is making Bra. work to keep them from scoring, so yay Australia

Not whoo. That means that if the US advances (haha like a 2% chance) then we'll have to play against all those phenomenal Brazilians. We're beyond doomed!

it was a good game( AUS v BZL) i woke up at 2 am to watch and went to bed at 4 am, mind you this was a school day, i say good match, ronaldo was completely rubbish, the runner up of our group will come against the winner from yours, I.E. most probably Czech Republic and your runner up, Italy or USA will come against brazil : ).
/me hopes USA goes through and gets told by brazil.

I think Italy beats the Czechs and then the 2nd place team will either be Ghana or Usa. Unless that game is a tie, then it will be the Czechs still. It's so confusing trying to keep up. lol

It is just before the England v Brazil match. Ronaldinho goes into the Brazilian changing room to find all his team-mates looking a bit glum.
What's up?" he asks.
"Well, we're having trouble getting motivated for this game. We know it's important but it's only England. They're crap and we can't be bothered."
Ronaldinho looks at them and says, "Well, I reckon I can beat them by myself, you lads go down the pub."
So Ronaldinho goes out to play England by himself and the rest of the Brazilian team go off for a few jars.
After a few pints they wonder how the game is going, so they get the landlord to put the teletext on. A big cheer goes up as the screen reads " Brazil 1 - England 0 (Ronaldinho 10 minutes)". He is beating England all by himself!
Anyway, a few pints later and the game is forgotten until someone remembers, "It must be full time now, let's see how he got on." They put the teletext on.
"Result from the Stadium ' Brazil 1 (Ronaldinho 10 minutes) - England 1 (Lampard 89 minutes)."
They can't believe it; he has single-handedly got a draw against England!!
They rush back to the Stadium to congratulate Ronaldinho. They find him in the dressing room, still in his gear, sitting with his head in his hands.
He refuses to look at them. "I've let you down, I've let you down."
"Don't be daft you got a draw against England, all by yourself. And they only scored at the very, very end!"
"No, no, I have, I've let you down...I got sent off after 12 minutes."
lol that's a very good one!!!
