DD spells now do 1/3 damage at low levels (was 1/2), and approach normal damage as the lvl increases.
Maybe someone can dig up the original changelog thread when the 1/2 dmg change was made, for those for whom this doesn't ring a bell. :)

Doesn't really affect high level characters. Still nice and makes starting tanks have an easier life.

Yes, I did, but I'm going to have a drumming from the first few days.
with an NCB char fought with any decency at all getting your DD up to 100k should take less than 24 hours...

I didn't see then need for this change. Mages are easier, not better. At least that's what I observed in the contests we use to have.
