MegaStratology: 1/2/3/4 minion team? (in General)

Hi everyone

I'm doing some research on different strats and "what works/doesn't work". I'll be posting some polls to find out everyone's opinions on the different aspects of CB and hope to get a positive response. I'd like to get the opinions of veteran and novice players alike.

First subject is wich works best/ do you prefer: A 1 / 2 / 3 or 4 minion team?

Now I know that alot of people say that a 4 minion team is majorly difficult to manage but I want your opinion based on the efficiency and effectiveness of the team. Please don't give colossal discussions, keep it sweet and short to make it easier reading all the posts.

Thanks for participating!

I prefer a single minion.

4 minions work best.

A single minion to start off with. Then add 3 more minions at a high mpr. This makes a very strong team.

My personal fave, with a tank, is a 2-minion setup. Gives decent exp distribution and allows room for a decent strat.

It really depends on what your objective is: High melee damage with tank, ranged damage with tank, (ditto with mages), trying to hold out as many rounds as possible, nullifying the abilities of a certain enemy (anti-tank, anti-mage)....once you decide your objective, designing a team around it is the best option IMO. Then you use the optimum number of minions for that particular strategy.

I get bored with more than 1 minion.

(So why on earth did I choose to do 4 this time?)

1 minion is very powerful, the focus of xp making it so. But 4 minions for me is the best all-rounder, giving you much more choice of strategy...

I think 3 minions is the best way to start out with a NCB or NUB. It gives a decent level of exp per minion and allows for one attack one defense and one enchanter. Anyone who tells you to start out with a single minion, then add minions along the way, forget to tell you why. It is so you can rise faster. Any other answer is wrong. It is better to get your minions early and pile exp on them for the entire time, then to add one later for millions of CB$ and 1/9 return on investment.

So get them early, after the third minion the dilution of exp per minion make you feel like you are going in slow motion. But there is no question 4 minions is more powerful than 3.

I'd think 3 or for minions will offer better strat options
