Store bug: amount of items bought. (in General)

This bug has been bugging me a bit for quite some time now:

Your Character exceeded his inventory limit of 10, or you exceeded the maximum number of purchases (8) in a 20 minute period.

The following items were not purchased:

* 900 Bolts [10x1] (+0)

You purchased your other item(s) successfully.



However I bought 9 stacks of ammo: (out of 10 selected)

the bug seems to be the fact you can buy 9 bits of ammo at once...

And I just noticed I now have 11 things in my inventory

Gah, at SOME point an automatic troller is going to come through and FORCE you to 10 items or less. I might happen in the next minute, it might happen in the next week, but when it does happen you will lose gear and I cannot tell you which piece of gear will be removed, so I would NOT take any chances there, and start making certain you have 10 items or less.

Well I already merged the arrows.. but does it really automatically delete one of your items? Not good, oh well

It indeed does delete the items.

But indeed the bug is that you can buy 9 items (Gondor realm) instead of 8 from any of the 2 stores.

I'm not in Gondor though... What does that have to do with it?

The longer you play the more items you should be able to buy from the store, or at least that used to be the case.

In Gondor you could buy 8
In Rivendell you could buy 6 (?)
In Shire you could buy 4 (?)

Are you playing the same game as the rest of us, Shade? I don't remember that ever being the case...

That rule certainly no longer applies, if it ever did.

I don't recall such a system, either.

Gah: it's 10 per category. You have both Armor and Weapons unequipped...

Oh, then how do you get more than ten? Auctions? Return of loans/rentals?

I do recall such a system though, back in cb1 with the storefarming issues new players weren't given the same amount of store buys as veterans to prevent rares from spawning too fast.
