Guardians of Altarris (in Off-topic)

Yeah, its some new game on the out-of-ba page, I just thought I would share some of my experiences with it, since its very detailed. After playing it a bit, you can unlock new modes to play in, where there are actually high-score lists with real people on em, I am 26th place on one of them, oh boy!

The only thing is I don't like the default controls setup, but at least it lets you change em. Also I suppose we can share secret passwords we get here to unlock stuff in the game. Damn it's fun to beat stuff up in there. In adventure mode the first time, I only got as far as the big bad robot boss, the larger white one, not the first white one (who is also a pain).

Anyways, check it out, I know the page has alot of crappy "advertisements" but the game is one of the more advanced and amazing accomplishments I've seen, using flash.

I unlocked Time Trial and the first charcater, but didn't get any passwords.

Couldn't finish the first chapter, silly big white robot boss! >_<

Beat that boss and earned second character. :)

Also unlocked Survival and won a password in it.

Wow, lots of lag, and I usually don't get any. Looks like a standard side-scroller/street-fighter game to me...

Doesn't work well at home either - on a nice super boosted G4. There is so much lag I feel like I did when I used to run games on my old wimpy windows 95 PC years ago. I hit a key to make the main guy move and about a minute later (not quite that bad I know) he moves. Oh well. Good graphics though

there can't be lag since it is a flash application which is downloaded completely...

just disable all the advertisements

Firstly, how do you disable the ads? Easy answer to that probably but my aging eyes aren't what they used to be lol.

And secondly - there is definitely lag. So much slowdown it's impossible to play. And we are not talking a slow machine either..It's only this game I have problems with as well. Everything else is fine and dandy.

The combo grapples can be very damaging.

Meditate.

Build and use Quickening.
