He is sporting a nice x350 +16 Elb
As you guys can see the damage reduced by my lvl 51000 ToE is just 2000 damage on average.
What i want to understand is why my ToE only reduces the damage of roughly 2000.
Is it my small ToE? or is the ToE broke or something?
Can you guys post the damage reduced by your ToE?

Is this all from Ranged? I think you'll need a lot more results. Damage ranges are faily random, and a ToE reduces a set amount from each blow (up to 75% of the damage done) based on it's level. It can also be 'overpowered' in some fashion.

Last guess was it reduces somewhere around 9-15% of it's level from each blow.

Maybe this is reduced becasue the total damage is above your tattoo level and it's being overpowered? Just a guess...

That ToE is very small for your level, so that's part of your problem. You should be able to handle maybe a level 150k ToE... that might make more of a difference.

I always used to use a ToE, and found it very useful...

A small ToE for your level is a bad idea. The ToE can reduce damage by 75% but there is also a max reduction possible, based on the tattoo size. When a blow exceeds 4/3 of this amount the % reduction gets goes down.

Its all from ranged yes. I wont survive 3 rounds vs Nightstrike :S
So the problem is the small ToE i have?

My ToE was about 200k before I reinked to a ToA and I remember my FB mage took an obscene amount of extra damage when I switched. Some people I was beating without a sweat were spanking me in 3-4 rounds because the damage I was receiving from AMF and ranged increased so much.

If you can - and this goes for any tattoo - get the biggest tattoo over your max tattoo that you can get. What you want is one that will be over your max tattoo level for quite a time. This way your tattoo is always operating at max tattoo level - which also means your power increases at a higher rate than a normally growing tattoo would.

It won't add any extra to your PR above what a tattoo of your max tattoo level would.

I can give you some data from a larger TOE.

Vs Team 7.

My wall takes about 7-8k damage per melee hit with my 1.95M TOE equipped.

Without it, the wall takes about 35k damage.

:) Ranger, all that shows is your ToE is large enough to hit the 75% cap. ;)

25% of 35K is 8750, so around the amount you observe taking. ;)

With a ToE that large, you should be reducing up to 195K (conservative estimate of 10% of ToE level...) per hit you face, up to 75% of the damage you receive.
