Very Powerful AX/EX Bows (in General)

So after a battle, I just happened to look, and it seems that a AXBow (and probably also a EXBow) sucks DX (or ST depending) from both the person being targeted AND also the minion with PL absorbing the HP damage. Is it just me or does this seem rather excessive. I think it should be either one or the other, but not both. Anyone else agree?

I got hit 6 times in ranged, and went from 310k DX to -72k DX, but not only that, my minion with PL also was reduced to -72k DX.

Your PL minion ran out of positive dex, then the drain moved on. The fightlog should have the indication of whom is gettin drained during which hit.

I rechecked my setup here, and I'm not seeing any of what you're seeing.

Besides, its definitely not overpowered. Even if thats the case its just getting back to where it came from originally.

Ok, but even after 77k of EC, I would still have 233k of DX. If getting hit 6 times reduces me to -77k DX, then each hit would take out 47833 DX. Thats crazy stuff!

The axbow in question is one of the most powerful in the game. 45k drain is not very much considering that high dex tanks have over 1M dex. So 45k is only 1/20th of the dex per hit.

You have the % based drain and the damage as a minus to your dex, so a low AC tank takes a lot of damage from the xbows and therefore loses a lot of dex.

I thought EC hit all of your minions, and you dont have any haste on your team. Also, the Axbow is hitting you for about 50k, and I hit 3 times a round with it.

So your PL minion would already have neg dex, which means it would target your tank anyways.

If you PL minion does not have any str or dex, he will stop absorbing the ax or ex effect... If you are getting negatives from EC.... you have no protection against axbow hits.

Simple solution: Don't use PL.

I for one, LOVE to see a no-brainer stat have a weakness -- I wish it was bigger! For the sweet love of God in a sidecar, I HATE PL!
