named tattoos (in General)

if a named tattoo get a 4% bonus, that increase is added to the tattoo level, so in effect my tattoo lv 1729000 is a tattoo lvl 1798160?

The 4% bonus is given to a tattoos' experience and not it's level so the increase would be somewhat less than your example. Atleast this is how I remember the bonus being.

They gain a 4% bonus in experience gain, which would result in an overall 4% higher level increase.

Also they have a 4% higher 'in effect' level which is best seen when you have a tattoo which is really close to your max tattoo level because your tattoo won't gain experience until it is below that 4% extra level.

I don't believe named tattoo's gain more exp that non-named...you have a thread that backs that up shade?

i just wanted to know an answer, maybe my question is not clear...soon i will have a max tattoo level that will be higher than the tattoos, but will the tattoo then grow? or does the naming make the tattoo level higher as per my 1st question

This would indicate that the bonus is actually better than a xp gain since the tattoo would only gain extra xp while it was named and not get a bonus for it's over all xp. This is besides the point however since the question was if the bonus pertained to overall level. Unless tattoos' gained levels linearly, which I highly doubt, then the 4% bonus to xp does not equal a 4% level increase.
