Suspended = No BA? (in General)

I got suspended today by failing 2 bot checks, and I noticed that I didn't receive any BA for the hour I was suspended. I was just wondering why that was...

I was thinking of purposely suspending myself once in a while so I wouldn't be able to fight... and thus not get distracted by CB :P But I guess I'll have to think of another plan..

Suspended = No BA gain indeed :)

In other words, pay the fine knowing that not paying it will most likely cost more in BA (1 hour's worth of fight rewards) than the fine itself.

It's that way, because it's supposed to be some kind of punishment ;)
It wasn't always like this before. It used to be a 2 hour suspension, but BA would generate while you were waiting. There also was no way to pay a fine back then.
You'll no doubt love the kind of fine there was in the earliest days of the botchecks: a full reset of your character ;)
