Question regarding forging statistics (in General)

As a forger, there isn't all that much excitement in the game. One thing I've always enjoyed with anything though is statistics. I'm a bit confused on how the forging stats work though. Last night, I had $8.6 million NW of forging for the month. However, this morning it has dropped to $6.9 million. I know I didn't do a 1.7 million dollar increase in 12 hours one month ago. So why the huge drop? Just curious as to what equation is being used for the forging stats, is this an error or do I not know something about how it calculates the numbers?

Forging "statistics" as used in econ clans, are determined by how much $CB is sent to you by fellow CBers. A messed up way to determine, sure, but that's how it works. So the 1.7m was sent to you somewhere in that 12 hr frame about 1 month ago

erm? forging statistics or most NW forged?

I think he's talking about forging stats, because I noticed the drop too. It is probably cb realizing that a new forging champion is about to emerge, and simply paving the way for said champion, whoever he or she may be.

To clarify, I'm not talking about the eco-clan statistics, I'm literally talking about the amount of forging done.

CXT, I'm a bit confused on your answer, why would the amount it shows be affected by others "de-throning" the forger? I'm confused on why it would subtract a substantial amount due to that, but it is rather late ;) so maybe I should re-read your response in the morning.

I believe it drops all the forging you did 4 weeks ago, It doesn't subtract it on a daily basis. Instead it drops it as a full week and *after* the *Cache Flush*.

That answer sounded good to me =) Until I saw that it dipped 1.9 mil for me last night. So that being the case, it doesn't seem to drop at the same time every week, not to mention it doesn't seem to drop for every person simultaneously. Is there any chance someone that programmed this stuff could give us an answer? *cough* Jon *cough*
