Black Market Voting Guide: Cornuthaum 9/18 (in General)

Karmic Mishap [Soup Ream] September 18 2006 9:34 AM EDT

All right, here's how this works, for those of who you may not know.
This 'Black Market Voting Guide' thread comes out whenever necessary, dated by the date in the title to ensure that you always can tell which is the most recent if two are active. This thread shows you what we, as a community, have chosen to vote to spawn out of the black market. This way we can all focus our votes on the same item and actually get them spawned, since there are a limited number of votes in the black market each week, and they only last two weeks apiece. So the idea is that you are supposed to cast your vote in the black market towards the item that wins in this thread, while casting your vote for which item you want to spawn in the black market here in the voting guide. Votes in the black market already are counted as votes in this thread at a rate of 5:1. If you have any questions, feel free to post or CM me.

Very, very close to done! Any last-minute votes here in the thread?

Maelstrom September 23 2006 1:43 PM EDT

I spawned it! ;)

Speckix [Speck's Spot] September 23 2006 3:52 PM EDT

I'm not too fond of this...

The way I see it is...I'm not going to vote on anything unless I personally really need the item that I'm voting on. Otherwise, why would I vote on something the "community" wants, that would put a rare item in the hands of someone else (my opponents)?

That's my thought on this. Do others see this also?

velvetpickle September 24 2006 4:33 PM EDT

I vote for TG's

Maelstrom September 24 2006 6:54 PM EDT

Speckix, it's impossible to get something to spawn in the BM if you do it on your own. We have to work together for it to work. If you want something to spawn, then just request that that be the next thing we all work towards.

QBOddBird September 25 2006 12:03 AM EDT

Speckix - just try having everyone vote for what they want. 0 items get spawned and all the votes are wasted. That's the point - the most wanted of the items gets spawned this way.

Just voting for whatever you want is a waste of your vote, since it won't get spawned.

But you're right, if you are against helping other people then you shouldn't vote in the BM....but really, how much difference (other than being annoying) will that stand make?

Speckix [Speck's Spot] September 25 2006 11:01 AM EDT

BBQ, I never made any claims as to items actually spawning if everyone voting for what they wanted. But regardless, I'm not going to argue about it. I simply stated my opinion on the matter. No need to get upset about it and/or flame me for it.
