New Character, What Strat? (in General)

Im just returning after about 3 months and I will be using the NCB. I only want to have 1-2 minions, but people tell me they aren't doing to well so at the max, 3. I just want to get some MPR, get some cash(gonna save it :D) and then maybe later on at about 100k MPR or so start doing some forging.

Anyone got any ideas on a good strat?

Get hold of a ToA and do TE.

tank, ToA
Enchanter - AS/AMF.

Get hold of a bow and make your tank an archer. At the moment not much touches the archer. It's probably this season's version of the FB mage..

And seeing as how you don't have much on your chars, I'm sending you a little something to get started up again. You can either sell it or use it....

Actually there are plenty of other options at the moment, mostly tank.

Tank is where it's at right now....

If you want to make money you should NOT go tank.

Get a SF.

Minion 1:

MM mage with xp in evasion/MM/HP

Minion 2:

DM or AMF enchanter with AS using the SF

Ranger's right though, tank is not where it's at for money making!

If it's money you want, why not just go SF and FB and evasion HP. Hunt non AMF character and single characters. Mainly tanks. with enough evasion they won't be able to hit you. Cheap and effective.

I think Ranger's strat is best for you to build a cheap, quick, effective character. However, where you say you want to start forging at 100k MPR - I'd finish out the entire NCB fighting. After all, the higher your MPR, the more efficient forger you are - and you don't want to waste that bonus time.

Minion 2: AMF enchanter with AS

Two questions with this..

do i train the AS, and AMf equally?
Do i keep Evasion on my mage 1/4 of my MM and HP and keep my MM and HP around the same?
