Tried looking up threads on the above 2 melee weapons and only found one with some information. With the cost for x and + the same for both, is BoTH a better melee weapon since it has a 50% more chance to hit? Any inputs?

MH deals a lot more damage at the same stats.
BTh however gets a lot less DX penalties when used with shields.
So it's a matter of choosing for higher damage or higher DX I think.

If you are using a ToA go Morg.
If not use BoTH.
ToA gives the + to hit you need so no worries.

But won't the BoTH give more hits because its 1-handed? I know the damage given by MH is much higher than a BoTH.

Yes but the ToA would make up for the penalty hopefully.

Is the 50% chance to hit using a 1-handed weapon added to the PTH of the weapon and also the ToA?

I not saying the ToA will COMPLETELY make up for it, only help alot and make the accuracy less of a trade off for massive damage.
it is 50% more 'base chance to hit' over a 2-handed weapon, this is the basic chance so not likely to be added onto the pth but will likely affect how many + you need to be guaranteed a single hit.

So if my melee weapon has +50, will it add to the base chance to hit? Meaning 1 guaranteed hit?
The numbers aren't set in stone, people have only guessed as they don't know how the 50% split has been distributed so I can't give an answer to that, only advise you to understand my previous post thoroughly
