Leaving CB... but I have stuff you might want (in General)

Hey everyone.

I'm sad to say that I have to leave CB, and I think this time it's for good. It's my last year in high school, and in addition to finishing out strong and getting ready for college/figuring out what I'm going to do with the rest of my life, I've taken up many other time-consuming activities that are rather important to me. Therefore, I simply cannot spend all the time that I spend on here any more.

Now, to the stuff:
I have an NCB character that I am quite proud of (A Rat Named Splinter), at around 110k MPR (and going to go up more until I leave. I'm addicted) with 3 months and a week or so left on the NCB. It's a strategy that I'm quite fond of (namely UC tank), and I am trying to improve it over my previous NCB that expired at the end of September. Just so anyone who inspects it knows, I was planning on adding an enchanter (see Master Splinter) as soon as I got the money, so the start isn't wuite complete as the character is.
I have some pretty good items on it granting a 23% bonus to DX and skills, a 26% bonus to ST, plus 21 UC skill level granted from my HGs, which are the third-highest pair in the game (named +13), and a tattoo that'll keep him maxed out for a bit. I'd like to keep these items with the character, rather than selling them off individually, though if no one plays the character it's just a waste of good items. So, my question is: is anyone interested in it?
I'm not really thinking of selling it so much, more giving it to someone I think is worthy/likes good UC strategies, but anything I could get in exchange would be appreciated.

B) I wish I had your HGs.

I know you are going to give it to someone who likes UC - but if that doesn't work out, could I get the HGs to help attain my goal of (200) UC and win my bet with Ranger/deifeln that I can hit (150) UC before the end of the year? ^.^

And I know you'll be back. It's too addicting. You just *think* you've quit. ~_^

You should make a FS thread for the items and the char, or make a contest.

Don't do such a thing in a 'General' thread plz...

and got to say rl before games always if its important stuff like work study etc .. its a bit sad but early retirment means being the hip wrinkly with the best team in any game (well unless you keep falling asleep XD)

Sorry, Shade, I didn't really know where to put it. I'm not really selling my character, I'm more just asking if anyone is interested in taking care of it (and acquiring a cool new UC character!) for free. I would have made a contest, except that I have absolutely no idea what kind of contest would be appropriate, as I want the possible new owner to be a UC enthusiast, preferably fairly new to the game (though through their NUB already) who would like a good, pre-established strat to build upon, and for that I would have to have the contest be something like "Be the most-likely-to-not-quit-the-game newbie who likes UC the most, win a Character!"

I'm kinda asking what they think I should do with my character as much as asking if anyone wants it, and I'm also saying that I'm leaving the game, which I would think is pretty General. Lol if you wanna move my thread and fine me 25k or whatever I supposed that's fine, because I'm not gunna need the cash because I'm leaving the game :-P. But it really was an honest mistake (or I just poorly represented the intention of this thread by talking about my character too much).

I would not mind taking care of your character and the HG. Haven't tried UC before. I have some elven gear that I can use to boost the UC even higher. :)

The Biggest UC enthusiasts, BBQ, Johnnywas, BarzooMonkey, TSCM, Redwolf, and Bluewolf. There are a few others that have been really big enthusiasts for UC but I can't think of them at the moment.
Any of the above would be great choices for the Character and gear.... But since I also want to see BBQ win the Bet, I would love to see him get the whole Shebang.

Hey, I love UC too! I've had a UC character for almost a year and have started a NCB with UC as well.. ah never mind. It's sad to see you leave, LeadenClaw. School and college are far more important than CB though, so I guess this is a good call.

About the character and items, you can also make a contest for it! Just to increase the interest in UC :p The more players interested in it, the better. Maybe do something like a picture contest. Have people make/find a picture of the perfect UC character, hehe whatever they think that is. What do you think?

I've been an advocate/enthusiast of UC since it was introduced back in CB1. I can remember lobbying for things such as a helmet for UC even back in those days... (and finally we got the HoE!)

At any rate... I'll use UC on pretty much any tank strategy. It just makes sense to save the money instead of shoveling it into a weapon.

Thanks, everyone, for responding. I have made a FS thread for my character. It's for sale, with all its currently-equipped items plus an AxBow too big for its weapon allowance, for USD. I've done my best to encourage adoption and use of the whole character, but if you really want my ToA and HG's that bad, I can't stop you from completely stripping the character once he is sold. Really, though, I think this is a really good opportunity for any of you UC enthusiasts who responded. Thank you!
