Hey, On my desktop and in my Start section, The pictures that would normally show for something dont appear, and just show the box or something to show if its a picture, or something.. Can anyone tell me if this has happened to them??

I have ran system scans, and have tried re-installing a couple programs, but nothing has happened so far.. Although when i got a new program, it appears just fine..

Sorry about the lack of detail, but I will attemp to answer any questions asked in order to help you solve my problem..

Just restart your computer, 9 times out of 10 that will solve a lot of things.

only thing I can think to do would be to right click the start icon, and fiddle with the settings a little.

Have you installed or uninstalled any new programs recently?

only thing i have installed lately is IE7, and FF... and what settings would you like me to fiddle with Slayer?? I cant find any.. lol

right click the start icon, click properties, click customize, try setting the icon size to the opposite of what you had then switching back again if that fixed it.

Nope.. nothing, i'll just leave it at that..

if you right click on the program in the list you can also select the display icon there, the icon should be in the default folder it sends you to, though you'd probably have to do that for all of them manually

what kind of icons don't appear now then?

48Zach October 22 2006 10:33 PM EDT
