Why is the "Enchantments Cast" data given during a fight useful?
think that is a left over from cb1, when you had a % of chance to cast a spell.
Maybe it should be removed.
it's mildy useful...kinda
It helps you know more about the opponents you face.
I find it useful when I am defeated by somebody with lower MPR/PR, to see how they beat me.

It isnt useful and should probably be removed
Tyriel, that makes no sense. All enchantments are listed, so you know how many were cast.
Whoops, I thought you were referring to the list of each individual enchantment cast and their effect.
For that matter, I say remove it. :o

It gives information regardless of your choice of play by play.

'Enchantments Cast' not useful?
From the 'enchantments cast' data I can see what my strategy is doing, when I've got enchantments. I can compare how other people are using their enchantments, how much they are investing in them. Whether or not they work to their advantage or not. I can work out how big the DM that is in use at various levels so I can judge how much to invest in some of my EDs. I can see how much my AMF is casting for, incase I need to increase it. And, as somebody else said, it helps to work out how lower MPR/PR chars are beating you.
I'd say that's quite a lot of reasons to describe it as useful. Works for me anyway....

makes it look neat, by aligning it with average damage.
its a lazy thing, why remove something for us people, who can't be bothered counting?
