AMF Change (in General)

I think it might be interesting to increase the effects of AMF, but then have its effect weaken every round after it is cast. Your thoughts?

no, most DD starts in ranged, where the "effect" hasn't started, FB and MM get the full blast.

this would only help CoC, because its in melee. thats a bit unfair, considering CoC can already do the most damage, you just have to keep the mage alive.

I agree, I should have written more to explain what I meant (I'm in lab so I'm running between my experiment and my comp...)

Before Battle:
1. Casting AMF make s a field around friendly minions.

First round of DD:
2. DD cast against those minions is weakened and the caster takes damage.

3. The AMF field is reduced by some factor relative to the strength of DD cast ( a low level MM or FB wouldn't kill a big AMF).

Next round of DD:

4. Rinse and repeat.

If the first round of DD comes in melee, then AMF is still the same size as when it was cast before the battle.

A new type of body armour for mages will be interesting. Theres only the MCM. Which is, pretty boring. Maybe a piece of armour like the TSA, but maybe grants a small bonus to DD and a percentile block for AMF, that half-lifes every round. So very similar to the current TSA but for mages.
