Chat is not Firefox, it's Java.

I'm using FF2 and I have noticed a recent problem where I will lose connection to the chat every 15 to 20 minutes when idle and it just reconnects. Not sure why. I've never had FF itself freeze up on me though.
Q: Chat crashes my browser. Can you fix it?
A: No. This is a bug in your browser and/or JVM. This is not due to a bug in the Chat Blender applet. It seems that IE with the MS VM is particularly crash-prone; see the first question for how to get the latest VM.
but i use firefox g_beeeso this doesnt really count

I'm still shocked-and-awed by the overwhelming lack of details in your posts. What Java versions have you tried, for example?
i had the latest version of java, the JDK 5.0 Update 9 and then it started to get wrong, on this 1 i have a very old version now and it works, on my labtop i have 4 different kinds of java and none is working
