i just got a laptop and im trying to look in the systen to see what it has, besides going to properties of m computer, is there a command i can use in the command prompt to see what this thing has for specs???like ram ,video card, baiscally i want the numbers.
to clarify
the box says 1024 ram, but system properties says 448???

448MB Most likely means that the machine got 512MB RAM installed, but also has a cheap video card that does not come with its own RAM, so borrows 64MB from the system RAM.
so that is why my specs never measured up. Thanks bart! :)
