Changemonth Finale (in General)

Hyrule Castle [Defy] November 30 2006 5:55 PM EST

Its the final days until changemonth (un)officially starts

And to kick things off for what i would like to see happen... here i a complete curveball

The ability to have up to 6 minions... thats right 6 minions....

Immagine the possibilities that people could have with 6 minions... so much greatness could go on.

A team of 6 mages would that be good? or would they blow.

how about 4 enchanters buffing 2 tanks... one in front and one in back... a few of them with PL and AMF and DM... what madness would happen then?

QBRanger November 30 2006 6:08 PM EST

Why stop at 6? Why not 10 or 12 or even 20?

The more the merrier.

Seriously, do you realize the xp dilution if there were more than 4 minions? Well not for those with the NUB or NCB, but for us normal players.

AdminG Beee November 30 2006 6:14 PM EST

You're not normal Ranger.

Hyrule Castle [Defy] November 30 2006 6:15 PM EST

i do realize the dilution... you realize how big the dilution is between 1-4 minion teams...?

Why say that the people can have 6 minions?

I say 6 is a good place to stop. Half a dozen, could get some good combinations off, even if its diluted. I think 4 minions are stupid...

people who have 4 may think 6 is awesome

QBBarzooMonkey November 30 2006 6:18 PM EST

I think 6 would be awesome if at least 1 of them was a pony...

Hyrule Castle [Defy] November 30 2006 6:18 PM EST

would benefits would a pony possibly have in this game? Increased ability to run away? or... a new form of meat shield :P

/me thinks thats called animal cruelty

Slashundhack [We Forge Our Own Stuff] November 30 2006 6:24 PM EST

I, m going to say the next familiar is going to be made of silly putty and able to rub out whole pages of text.

TH3 C0113CT0R November 30 2006 6:47 PM EST

forget six make everyone use 1 minoin :P

Miandrital November 30 2006 6:52 PM EST

Well, you could certainly make some interesting teams that way. Imagine a 100 minion team with a RoS Boosted AS. Or a 100 minion team with 99 AS's and one ToA tank. Or 99 minions with 400 AC and 1 with a ToE.

But in all reality there is little point to going more than 6 minions (only 6 ED spells)

Hyrule Castle [Defy] November 30 2006 6:56 PM EST

exactly 6 is the magic number everyone.

Who wouldn't like for that to be an ability... i mean... adding of new spells and items. only tweaks the game so much... but 6 minion teams, is a whole new playing field for CBers

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] November 30 2006 7:03 PM EST

The number of minions a team has is of particular importance to the balance of the game, believe me adding the familiar minions was dramatic enough.

Hyrule Castle [Defy] November 30 2006 7:12 PM EST

precisely would 6 minions not be the boost this game could use, to re-spark interest in Cbers who have quit, and to totally tweak things to where, the people in the top may have a running for their money, with some wisely placed minions?

Karmic Mishap [Soup Ream] November 30 2006 11:20 PM EST

I'll go out on a limb and say that the only thing that could REALLY spark the interest mentioned in the previous post would be the addition/major buffing of an economic aspect of the game. That would make it just a little bit less like playing USD Blender.

QBOddBird December 1 2006 12:58 AM EST

"precisely would 6 minions not be the boost this game could use, to re-spark interest in Cbers who have quit, and to totally tweak things to where, the people in the top may have a running for their money, with some wisely placed minions?"

No, it wouldn't be.

A Lesser AR of 15 [Red Permanent Assurance] December 1 2006 1:47 AM EST

Think we found a new addition to FORS.

[P]Mitt December 1 2006 2:10 AM EST

I second that Gun.

to re-spark interest in Cbers who have quit, and to totally tweak things to where

How would having 6 minions re-spark interest in CBers that have quit?
Most, if not all quit not because they "only had just 4 minions" - they quit because of real-life issues. I fail to see how it would re-spark interest when they lost interest in another part of the game.

I think the pony idea is excellent. You could equip it with 2 pairs of DBs, then your tank/mage could ride it. Imagine the evasion possibilities. :)

QBJohnnywas December 1 2006 5:18 AM EST

I want a pony.

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] December 1 2006 5:39 AM EST

My Little Pony, Johnny?

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] December 1 2006 5:50 AM EST

Or, that's either £25, or you need to go to the loo, for a 'Pony and Trap'.

Rhyming slang FTW! ;)

QBJohnnywas December 1 2006 5:56 AM EST

My Little Pony GL, the little pink one with the ribbons

DrAcO5676 [The Knighthood III] December 1 2006 9:59 AM EST

What about My Little Pony! I want one! If GL and Johnny get one, so should I!

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] December 1 2006 10:05 AM EST

G Must have a 'My Little Pony' Smiley... ;)

QBBarzooMonkey December 1 2006 10:25 AM EST

Hey! I get the first pony! I've only been asking every change month for a year!

;)
