My manager called me last night, and asked if i could come in to work today. I didn't want to, and I wasn't on the schedule for this today, so I said 'no' Here's my problem: somehow, it came out 'sure'... I've already decided I'm not going. I desperately need sleep. I just need an excuse to call in with, sometime within the next hour... Any help?
The problem now is that they will know that it's an excuse rather than somthing real (although they can't prove it).
You've agreed to overtime and to suddenly have any form of illness, mechanical problem or anything of the sort the day after will seem highly suspicious.
Plus your wage packet will be slightly fatter this month if you do it!

The movie "Office Space" is very appropriate study material for your situation...

So, I should rob the place with a computer virus, and then set the place on fire over a stapler?
But seriously... I've narrowed it down to allergic reaction, food poisoning, or broken toe... Unless u guys have something better

Can't you just explain that you said no and won't come?

no, because, i thought i said no, i wanted to say no, i wish i said no... But reguardless of all this, the word came out, sounding a lot like 'Sure'...

I've got it! I'll disconnect the phones, and go to bed... Nighty night CB
Thank you to those who tried to help.
Lol, always happens to me, I can't resist the urge to say 'yes' when offered with overtime, even when it's at ridiculous times of the day. 'No problem, I'll be there' comes out on it's own XD

I need the afternoon off because my one armed brother is flying in and he has two suitcases.
This is probably to late. Just say you got it caught in your zipper and you can't go out in public and hang out. But if they want you can borrow a dress from the neighbour lady.
