Top 10 exemption removed, it seems (in General)

Just got this for the first time:

Challenge bonus -17% (why is this negative?)

Seems those of you who wanted it, got it.

And...
After all of 4-5 minutes, the negatives are now gone.

Likely it was a bug, or a portent of things to come.

Being #11 is the worst place you can possibly be ;)

Anyway, is this top10 by score, PR, MPR, something else?
Why have a hard threshold at the #10? The choice of opponents for #11 is not that much different than for #10 to make a special case with such a huge difference.

It was put in back in May of 2005 (or close to it). Back then, the top score was less than a million, and there were very few "contenders" for the top spots.

If anyone mentioned it in May 05, it should have been in a historical context. The "magic 10" has been around for much longer than that.

Bartjan, I asked that question last year, and I got that response:

mpr would be silly to be counted, as fight rewards are based on the PR vs Score.

and score would also be silly for pretty much the same reason.

I dropped myself to 11th and gave RaptorX and bartjan a little boost in doing so and now I see Challenge bonus -24% against Leodagraunce.
