Archery bug still around? (in General)

Ok, I'm making a second thread about this, as my first thread is a little rambling.

I've been finding that my char is a better bowman with evasion trained than archery. My problems with archery following some testing this morning would seem to be the same problems that Novice had a few months ago.

Here is one of Novice's many threads about the problem.

In that thread Jon identified a bug that made archery working a random thing. Perhaps a 'fix better' is needed?

I'd also like to know, so I've taken the liberty of making a lazy link

I am seeing some oddities, data later on tonight.

I'm seeing occasional (like two out of 200 hits) quads, but mostly just triples with on minions with no evasion and no dex with archery, I haven't see any quads without it...

I've got a 1.3 mil ToA and +67 bow...so quads shouldn't be that hard right?

So with the ToA and 130 PTH on Jayuu's bow I'm seeing quads against ed's wall, I don't know exact numbers for the ToA, so I don't know if I should ever expect quint hits...

One of my thoughts was that perhaps archery operated based on the bow PTH only. My bow is only a +16. My ToA is about 750k in level, so adds a considerable amount of PTH, enough that while I have evasion trained I'm seeing lots of doubles and triples. But as soon as I train archery that amount of multi-strikes drops. I'm not a number cruncher, so there's only observation and 'feel' involved, but it feels like my PTH drops when archery is trained.....
