Wow, that was amazing, thanks for posting :)
I dunno, a ninja as physically fit as him might be the only one who'd give Chuck Norris and Keanu Reeves a run for their money.
Impressive, although you can tell the age is getting to him with the way he was getting in that second task of the 3. He probably would have raced through that in his younger years ;)

If you meant the 3rd one out of 4, then note that that one does not have a time limit ;)
I know bart but I was almost worried he'd keel over and die with his breathing pattern only half way through it.

You think that's fast - you should see the video of the Pirate doing it :)

great pics there G Beee, and Jon, can you please add Beee to the spell checker?
Amazing! O_O
Oh and Geee, today I was bought a copy of the Pirates versus Ninja comic! ;)
Arrr!!
"Pluck those pajama-wearin' buttersops outta th' sky!"
O.o I saw that once before, but a North American version.
Absolutely amazing. Especially the last one. 20m in 30 seconds? That's rediculous. :P It's enough trouble to climb up a rope, let alone with a time limit.

By the way, assuming our ninja weighs ~75kg that's:
20 meters against gravity = 75 kg * ~10 m/s/s * 20m = 15,000 Joules of potential energy generated.
15,000J in 30 seconds = 15000/30 = 500 Watts of power.
500 watts of power = ~0.67 horsepower.
In other words, for 30 seconds, our ninja was generating the power of 2/3 of a horse. Or, he was powering 5 100W light bulbs.
Not too shabby.

Yeah, I use ninjas to light my light bulbs all the time.

The video of that guy scrambling up the mountain gives me butterflies in my stomach.
Wow, an even better find Jon.

Dan Osman:

He died November 23, 1998 at the age of 35 after his rope cut while performing a controlled free-fall jump from the Leaning Tower rock formation in Yosemite National Park. The exact cause of the failure is unknown, but a change in jump site selection which caused a rigging entanglement is most likely.

Good lord! Wow, I think for safety, they should take the "speed" out of that type of climbing. I mean, I'm all for amazing feats, but isn't just making it safely to the top its own reward?
Yeah, I am probably just jealous...
...and find it very tragic that Osman died while doing a controlled _fall_ using rope. He should have stuck with going up using his bare hands. :\
