Fighting (in General)

when i attack Morgoth Bauglir i seem to lose but when he attack me i win anyone know why?

The defending team has always had a slight boost in fights (nobody knows how or why) so this is a likely situation.
Although the other thing could be that Shade slightly changes his team when he isn't fighting by either changing minion order or equipping different items that can work better for defense.

I'd say that it's just the difference between attacking and defending.
There appears to either be a slight penalty when attacking (which
is how I always thought of it) or a boost when defending.
When two teams are quite evenly matched it seems to happen
that way.

I think it has something to do with order...
