Catch Me Up! (in Off-topic)

Hey Guys!

About 99% of you guys probably don't even know me, but it doesn't really matter. Basically I really haven't actively played this game for many years (back to CB1), so i just want to know what's been going on since I've been gone. I'm not asking about every single change that has happened, just some of the important stuff, and I know some of you guys would be willing to do this. All I want to know is how the game has been, since I haven't been here to see it.

Archery effects the PTH of the ToA and bow, tats are crazy, Help now leads to a wiki...umm...

X for weapons is now linear, and the numbers are much larger x10000 is the top end (like x130 or something silly in old damage nomenclature)

Hey, I do recognise your name. I've been away for a while too so I'm just catching up myself, not as easy I thought.

Thankfully though I was here for the start of CB2 so it hasn't been nearly as hard for me as it will be for you. :P
Here's a list of stuff you might want to know:

Yeah, the numbers on weapons are crazy.

Check stats > items > overview for info on all items, just click the item name and it'll take you to the wiki page with the info.

Read up on tats, check the wiki for info on them. It's important because they level up as your character does so it's cheapest and easiest to get the right one to start with.

Fireball now also does damage to your own minions in melee (only if you have more than one minion though). Single fireball mage is a common strategy to counter this, train 1/3 HP, 2/3 FB on a single minion char and you'll do fine.

MM now attacks the last minion rather than the first.

There's now a new user bonus which gives newbs huge fight rewards and means newbs catch up real quick. And for us vets there's a new character bonus which is just a bonus to EXP, not money.

Oh and you probably aren't up to date on MPR/PR either, PR now factors in your NW, MPR is the old PR (minion power rating).

Other than that, just ask lots and lots of dumb questions in chat. Works for me anyway. ;)

I remember the name. Its nearly impossible to catch you up. Read as much as you can on your own from the forums or the wiki. Or just stats pages and stuff.
