Need some browser help please (in General)

Evening,

I am at home this week (reading week, horah) and on this computer none of the CB drop down menus will work. The browser is the newest version if IE, but it's all fancy looking and I don't like it at all. But thats besides the point.

Any ideas on something I can try to remedy the problem?

well upon some tinkering I can use all of the menus...it's just no text will show up. So CB is still playable, just not as playable as it was before :D

Solution 1---Get Firefox
Solution 2---Downgrade to IE Version 6, Version 7 really sucks.

I'm using IE7, no problems whatsoever here, never had any since upgrading.

hrrm I don't like IE7 at all.

But since I have not built my computer yet I can't tinker with anything on this one.

Guess I just have to deal with it for a week then :D

The only difference I can see is mostly that it is tabbed browsing although still allows new windows. The buttons may be in slightly different places or look a little different but mostly seemed pretty normal from the first time I used it.

Are you using windows xp as well?

No tabs anywhere will work, even the ones in the browser help menus :P

Yes I am XP with IE7 and all works perfectly although I guess I defy the odds every time ;P
