Archery Question... (in General)

Wiki says this: "To reach 1.0, train it to 1/4 of the minion's strength (including Giant Strength). Beyond this is wasted."

So if my Archery skills say (1.00) but I apply GS I'm not really getting a 1.00 effect if I'm not trained up to 1/4 of my battle strength... correct?

Archery: 114,139/81,528 (1.00)

But in battle: Strength (at best) = 632,973

So I'd need my Archery trained way past a 1.00 reading to account for GS, yes? (158,244)

The actual effect for Archery (and Bloodlust) depends on your actual strength in battle. This even can vary per round (if facing an exbow). If you use Giant Strength, or anticipate all your opponents to use Ethereal Chains, you have to calculate the required Archery yourself.

LG,

You are correct in your assessment in your post.

Since you have Giant Strength, your archery is undertrained.

If you face people with EC or DM that nuke your GS, then your archery may be fine. However, best to train it assuming you do not fight EC or DM opponents all the time.
