Strat Talk: Player Appreciation (in General)

Being bored leads me to look at everyone elses strategies... and I mean everyone! So, first I'd like to say that you are all beautiful and your teams look very nice! But, for this thread I wanted everyone to have a chance to shout out at they're _favorite_ strats currently in CB2. By this, I don't really mean single ToA Archer, or SFBM, or AS/RoS. I mean specific characters, don't be shy! Tell us who you admire!

I guess I'll start it off with my personal favorite at the moment.

Little_Devil's Oxcha. Brilliant! (like a Guinness guy) While I hadn't noticed Oxcha at the top for while, this strat is completely original and I think its awesome. The natural HP's with a multi-PL system to maximize the wall. Brilliant!

Also, my honorable mention would have to go to Hubbell because I love mage based teams and his DM is outrageous. Anyone he fights better not rely on DE's!

Nice work guys! Truly an inspiration!

There are a few people on CB nearly as nutty as I am so clearly their strategies rate pretty high but if I've got to pick one, I've gotta go with PM's char Koyaanisqatsi.

The man's very thorough you've got to give him that. He's also got a buttload of networth but that's another matter.
This is the sort of character someone with a good head for strategy comes up with (when that someone is also sane).

Not very creative but tough. And will give anyone aiming for top spot a real run for their money (if they can keep up anyway).

Then again, if GL ever gets that single minion enchanter strat working...

Well, I was told that Oxcha's inspiration for his strat was comparable to Koy when he was a mage. So, I must give credit where credit is due... the doctor of strategy, Popsicle_Man!

Koy's strat right now is incredible. I mean, just looking at his character there is so much going on! Multiple enchantments and skills trained by every minion. At first glance you might think it's a newb character with so much going on... then you realize he's the top dog and you know there is mathematical precision and a whole lot of genius behind it. Brilliant!

I don't like anyones strategy in particular, I like quite a few, quite a bit, but there is a weakness in every single one. There is always a weakness... You can't build a perfect strategy in this game, which is why I like it... there is always someone who could build a team to beat you... So, I guess the perfect strategy here is to build a team who is not overly weak vs. any strategy. I don't think you can build a team that will kill every one, every time, so doing well vs "Most" is the best we can hope for...

So anyway, I think everyone should have the answer of "I like my strat best", that's my answer. If my strat weren't my favorite then I would have to change it to be more like my other favorite to make my strat my favorite... ::blink blink:: Did that make sense? Lemme read that real quick...

Basically, you should always go for the best strat that you can think of (or the best on you can't "think of" because someone already thought of it... but still... even if you have a similar strat as someone else, it's "your strat"... so what I'm saying is... if your strat isn't your favorite, then change your strat, or why are you playing?

I like my strategy. It makes me (extremely) vulnerable to mages, but I don't really care. If I can have a decent-sized fightlist with high challenge bonuses, I'm happy.

It doesn't need too much NW, either. Just a VB to take down walls. :D And, when it's big, I'll be able to take down most, if not all, tanks. :)

*goes to suggest that DDs be removed altogether*

I've really liked PoisoN's strat. He shows you can be at the top with no USD input whatsoever and with a Mage at that. Determination and perseverance is needed. It isn't as if he has a bad strat and bottom feeds and just burns a lot of BA, his fightlist is decent. In a NW dominated game, not exactly USD-Dominated, but NW dominated, he proves low NW can still make it through.

That's all I can say for now, He is at the top of my list of best strats for those reasons, yes PM has a great strat, but he has no limitations with that NW.
