Could we possibly have some sort of message that automatically inserts itself into a Clan Message that let's people know it's a clan message and not a personal CM? Not a big deal really, but I get a bunch of messages and have a hard time sorting them out sometimes... Any thoughts?

What we do in BR is preface all Clan messages with C: before the message. That way all members know that it is a clan message and not a private CM.

Good idea, I'll point this post out to my clanners.
same with our clan, we do some sort of "[C]: ......."
Why didn't I get told this ? Is there anything I should know zog ??
maybe it should be added to the wiki and labeled as proper etiquette when addressing the clan...i dunno???
Lol Slash, did you never notice a large amount of CM's starting with ** when there was a whole clan discussion going on between me, you, Johnny and GL?
I used to use 'All:' but ages ago the clans I were in started using ** ;)
"[C]" just seems so much more official ;P

Yeah, but ** is prettier. And easier to type in the Beer Garden
I always just thought it would be far better to have a separate CM list for the clan. It's silly to replicate one message on 5 people's received CM list, and even sillier to replicate a single message 5 times on the sender's list. Make a scribble wall for each clan that you access via the clan stats page. Give it the same 50 item retention that chat mail has.
A side benefit is that it helps to alleviate chat mail scrolling off too quickly because you sent a few clan mails.

Everything works except sending clan mail.
