Why did someone bid 2M on a 2M NW ELS?
Considering almost everyone knows the ELS is not a very good item given the other options out there.
Could it be they are in tandem trying to get cb to overbid? If so, is the legal or ethical?
Just asking simple questions.

A simple answer: Legolas is an idiot? Probably the most logical answer, too.

Legolas is no idiot.
Considering his NCB does not even have a tank on it, this is very interesting indeed.

I would agree with you here PM, like I do in most events, but then why start the bidding so high and risk losing so much cash for an item that isn't worth it.
Granted, they still may be trying to cheat the system. Just doesn't make much sense. Maybe Legolas just... really wanted one?... eh. Don't make any sense to me..

ELS' suck, and they'd never go for their NW. We're wondering why he is bidding on it, so expensively and when he has a mage. Edyit Jr, also brought up that he canceled a deal because he was in debt, yet he goes bidding on this ELS.
People think that he is trying to jack up the prices with AoD and that if the auction goes through, Lego will send the ELS back and AoD will send the Money back.

Answer: He just paid more than anyone expected him to for an ELS. It really doesn't seem that suspicious to me, just wondering what he's doing.
Maybe he's buying it to slip onto his 300k MPR single tank farm.
