Bruce vs. Chuck! (in Off-topic)

Bruce

Chuck

Who wins?

QBsutekh137 April 11 2007 11:12 AM EDT

Are they fighting in a hall of mirrors? Advantage Bruce.

Are they fighting in some Texas brush in front of a Sunday night octogenarian TV audience? Advantage Chuck.

Are they simply sitting down for a nice cup of tea, chortling at days and adventures gone by? Draw.

AdminG Beee April 11 2007 11:15 AM EDT

Does it matter where ?

Chuck wouldn't have been able to set a finger on Bruce. Literally, he wouldn't have been able to hit him...

Of course, Bruce is dead now, but that's a minor detail.

Adminedyit April 11 2007 11:18 AM EDT

I'd put my money on Bruce. The man was amazing. Not taking anything away from Chuck, but Bruce was unstoppable (well almost).

QBBarzooMonkey April 11 2007 11:23 AM EDT

Well, in ranged, Bruce would fill Chuck full of throwing stars and darts and things, all the while dodging Chuck's silly bullets.

Then in the first round of melee, Bruce would get a quint hit off before Chuck even finished his first roundhouse kick.

Bruce in 4 rounds.

:)

QBRanger April 11 2007 11:36 AM EDT

Chuck,

Bruce is dead, thereby a mere mortal.

Chuck, however, is still alive. For all we know he made the same deal that Dick Clark made with the devil for immortality.

[T]Vestax April 11 2007 11:39 AM EDT

A deal with the Devil? Are you sure he didn't just roundhouse kick the Devil until he agreed to whatever Chuck wanted.

Brakke Bres [Ow man] April 11 2007 11:42 AM EDT

Steven Seagal will kick there butts!

steven

[T]Vestax April 11 2007 11:45 AM EDT

Ummm... No.

"Chuck Norris sold his soul to the devil for his rugged good looks and unparalleled martial arts ability. Shortly after the transaction was finalized, Chuck roundhouse kicked the devil in the face and took his soul back. The devil, who appreciates irony, couldn't stay mad and admitted he should have seen it coming. They now play poker every second Wednesday of the month."

woo! chuck Norris

Bruce Lee was the first true Mixed Martial Artist and knew a bit about the ground game, as well as being one of the greatest strikers ever... BUT! Chuck Norris has been training this whole time and has a black belt in Jiu Jitsu now... It would be a close one...

AdminLamuness April 11 2007 1:51 PM EDT

But can Chuck Norris do the devastating 1 inch punch that Bruce Lee can do?

TheHatchetman April 11 2007 2:57 PM EDT

Bruce vs. Chuck is like Jimi Hendrix vs. [insert name of *any* guitar player ever, here]. It's just not fair comparison.

Adminedyit April 11 2007 5:04 PM EDT

Steven Seagal? Are you kidding me? He'd tuck tail and run in fear of Bruce!

GO PATS April 11 2007 5:14 PM EDT

Steven Seagal was the first American ever to be allowed permission to teach a school of martial arts in Japan. He is a high degree black belt in Aikido. And he weighs about 250 lbs... never count him out!

Brakke Bres [Ow man] April 11 2007 5:18 PM EDT

yah that and his face will never show an emotion, that has those two running scared.

But Chuck will win it, because of his roundhouse kick

Slashundhack [We Forge Our Own Stuff] April 11 2007 5:24 PM EDT

Ah Bruce Campbell can take them both out with his chin .

DERPA [Red Permanent Assurance] April 11 2007 5:28 PM EDT

This was brought up years ago on CB1 where someone said they did actually fight in a tournament of sorts and Chuck won. Don't know if it's true and kind of on the fence considering the setting. Found it believable tho I don't remember the source and I've been a MMA(Almost entirely Kung-Fu of course) and Bruce fan since 7. I'll let you fools google it!

deifeln April 11 2007 5:38 PM EDT

Chuck Norris will forever be known as the man who fought against Bruce Lee in Way of the Dragon (1973). This was the film that started Norris’ film career, and made people notice him as both a screen presence and a martial artist.
