A huge portion of the CB economy was once the drive to get every item for your team...now it seems the only way to survive rewards wise is to fight as close to naked as you can get. Even in the 6/10 range where there is no penalty for fighting down you see teams fighting with fewer and fewer items because (and I'm assuming things here) there are bonuses still not shown in regards to NW imbalance between teams. I liked seeing the fully equipped monster teams of old, and think that items are one of the coolest parts of the game.
I don't have a solution to the problem that hasn't been suggested before, but I'd like to hear if anyone else has one...

maybe change how challenge bonus is caculated? or maybe reveal how rewards are caculate?( fat hope) :x

I drop my unnecessary items (which is almost everything) because it lowers my PR in relation to my opponents' scores, thus increasing my rewards (which I assume it does).

I think that's the point, Myth. If there are those who can't afford most of what they need, should they really be given the shot to take down someone who has everything they need, but is unequipped for bonus purposes?
my point is more that penalizing users for having items messes with the econ
I am not certain I have a solution either, but when the NW-PR link was first said to be ready to add to CB, I made several posts about what I thought would be the outcome of it. Who knows if they are still around, but, there could be some good info in there, if you wanted to look for it.
