How do you beat them? (in General)

As I think about my not even near future NCB... I start to think about how to beat the top dawgs. Unfortunately for me I am going to go with an RoS Mage build focused character with a big wall and some leechers. Alot like Oxcha but a wee bit different... however, I was just wondering what other ideas were out there.

You know you want to beat them too! What would you do with 50m to spend on BA for your NCB? The main targets are obvious... how do you beat them?

Actually... up the stakes. Say you had 300m to spend on equipment...

Now what would you do?

get EC big enough to -4.5mil stats and a ToA tank with more than 3mi st tat may do it.

Minion 1: ToA/BL tank with 100+mil VB, 100+mil DB, EG, HoE, AoM
Minion 2: Sizeable evasion, small prot/antimagic field and all HP, high AC mage wall gear.

Most of the XP in the tank to have enough STR to overcome the large ECs up there. Further minions will probably be PL batteries.

well, you will need ALOT of CB money for buying BA everyday.

Single Archer with the biggest ELB around combine that with a ToA and when you hit 2mil mpr buy all your minions, no evasion, no EC, no armour big enough to deal with that.

Get a Massive ToE, and spend the rest of the money on the highest AC set I can find and slap it on my CoC mage with a PL enchanter that trains AS >:)

It's important not only to focus on the end result, but also the path towards it.
Setups that work well at the top may not work that good on your way towards that top. The challenge is to find a strategy where your character is at its best during its entire life time, without wasting too much on retraining and such.

Bonus points for being changemonth proof...

SFBM up to 1 mil mpr, then take a 2% mpr hit and retrain that minion into a tank and hire on 3 more. ToA with a huge Exbow to drain all of a tanks str in one shot :D

Maybe a DM to handle NWOs GA and a Mage wall to survive Suts two big MM...Oxcha has a sizeable MM as well I believe. Don't forget your VB as well, lots of endurance/AC up there :D

Whatever you do, just don't be in the same clan; if you can beat them you won't be able to!

I do not think he has to worry about it JW, Battle Royale is all filled up at the moment.

Pick your favorite strategy. Then take the damage dealer, and put it all in ST and DX with HP. Then a 500 million VB.

I like GW's idea, although I'd suggest something a bit different. :)
