Create Recipient character for equipment...Check
Move equipment from old NCB...Check
Retire him...Check

Start putting items in Rentals...erm No Money
But what about the money from the old NC...Ah

Yes Boys and Girls, when retiring a character - TRANSFER THEIR !"ﾣ""ﾣ$$ﾣ CASH TOO

Anyone got a mill and a half to lend me till Wednesday? ;-)

How about paying an admin 50k to unretire your character so you can get your money back? If you need money to do this, let me know and Ill spot you the 50k.
