Here's hoping they don't butcher what was an awesome comic.

It does look good. The first comic I can remember reading was Marvel's Dracula, and it was one with Blade (God knows what my mum was thinking buying me that!!!) and I've loved vampires ever since.
Although I have to say Near Dark has to be my favourite vampire movie ever...
"it's finger licking good"
Adrian Pasdar before he was 'Flying Man', and several cast members of Aliens, plus a script by Eric Red who wrote The Hitcher. But then they go and release it as the same time as The Lost Boys. It should have been so much bigger....

How about
this here vampire film? Undoubtedly it won't be half as good as the book, but I'm still heading to the theatres to view it.
oh my goodness mem thats a classic! Matheson was a pioneer in vamp horror. i just don't know if i can picture will smith as the legend.

What do you think of Will Smith as the lead?
hehe that will take some getting used to. especially the way Matheson went into detail on describing him and his appearance as time went.
Now if someone could do a decent version of Brian Lumley's "The Necroscope" series i would be ecstatic. Nothing i've read can compare to the Wamphiri for violence and evil.

I'm not familiar with the Necroscope series. Who wrote it?
