So nervous... (in Off-topic)

I've a job interview tomorrow morning, and I'm really nervous about it!

It's another school job, doing what I do now, but more management and strategy based.

They want someone quickly, gving under a week to submit you application form, and giving two days to prepare for the interview.

It's starts tomorrow at 7:45, and there are some tests before I have to give a 10 minute presentation on "My view of future ICT provision" before the interview.

I've spent he last two days wokring on the presentation, have got three slides in powerpoint and got it to 10 minutes.

I've done as much preperation as I can, and have everything ready for tomorrow. Just typing this to help calm me. :)

I'm first up of four candidates. My interview finishes at 12:15, last on finishes at 2:15. It'll take a while to deliberate, then they contact everyone by phone. I bet I'll be at home then, so you guys will know the minute I do! ;)

Back! Won't know the results for about 5 hours or so.

I think it went well, I could have done better on the tests, but I think they were intentionally set that way...

At the end of the interview, one of the Panel asked my sisters name, and then revealed she knows my mum and dad! From her husband wargaming! ;) I'm sure that can't do me any harm! ;)

But there was an internal candidate, and I hate facing those. :(

They wouldn't have posted it to the public if they had a viable internal candidate, so I don't think you have any worries there. Good Luck though

Mikel, in UK schools they aren't allowed to just promote people internally, they have to open up the position to all applicants.
