Hey,
I had to reinstall my Windows (yuk indeed) and I lost my settings for Fire Fox...
Now I retrieved most of the plug-ins I used but I still can't open a website in a new tab and NOT focus on it...
how can I open a website in a new tab (either through my favorites list or through a link in a site) and not focus on it automatically?

Tab Mix Plus is what I use for my tab preferences.

Tools -> Options -> Tabs -> When I open a link in a tab, switch to it immediately.
Which only works for links :(
Or use one of the plugins such as Bartjan suggested.
I use that add-on that allows you to click the throbber and go to what ever url you put in it . Left click CB, Right click Fallen sword.
