WA: Beating a dead horse (goat)? (in General)

So... I remember a poll from awhile back (no idea when this was... just know it was semi-recent) about possible solutions to the WA crisis. Yes, I said crisis because I think it's a real problem. It just doesn't seem to make sense to me...

I don't have time to analyze this right now because I have class in 3 minutes, but in honor of changemonth I wanted to stir up some debate and possibly reach a decent conclusion.

My idea was Equipment Allowance. Have it include all items and NWs rather than just weapon specific. This would involve a fundamental change of PR weighting of armors, but I feel that it would be cool... and allow mages to have some "hidden" power (aka 100m NW weapons that don't add to PR)

Just a quick rant, so who wants to beat this dead goat?

So the WA issue is more of a crisis then the evasion/TOA/Elb issue?

I agree that this is a problem, but the problems with ranged damage, Evasion, TOE, NUB/NCB, and now a BA regen issue, are all more critical in my mind. We'll see if Jon has time to get to any of it.

I just feel that the way it works now... WA is really just USD allowance. I'm actually too tired to commit to this post, just wanted to bump it up!

But yes, so much land for no reason... conquered by only a few.
