RoBF change now makes single E a possibilty! ;) (in General)

Late night, I'm a little worse for wear, but the new 'active' RoBF damage makes the possibilty of a single GA E team viable, as it's now able to kill no weapon enchanters. :)

Something to think about! ;)

We can just train a base FB to not take active damage from the RoBF ;)

How will a base FB do that?

ROBF + DB + NSG + HOC + AOF

ROBF +AMF against mages and all those super buffed evasion against tanks. Given the right MPR, should have quite a potential to be shouted at "ZOMG THIS IS overpowered!!"

Don't the minion need to try to attack the RoBF minion in order to get burnt? I thought that was how it will work now.

No,

in melee rounds, the RBF wearer burns the first minion of the enemy (unless protected by an AOI) automatically for a nice amount of damage, dependent on the RBF's level.

oh, that's how it works now. Interesting. Maybe I'll try it out and see how well it works now.

no it does not :) neither does GA

...Because they give an insane boost to Evasion, and are dirt cheap to upgrade to give that insane boost...

All depending on the Evasion level, of course. Higher the better with EBs.

I agree. And it's even worst in my opinion: I see no way to counter GL's strat except by using a bigger RoBF.

I think the obvious solution around the problem is to allow GA to retaliate damage to the minion wearing the RoBF. That would obligate RoBF characters to at least choose between DM and AMF and also to train a respectable amount of HP.

A big ToE can protect against the RBF, but actually killing an evasion/RBF minion seems like a tricky thing to do.

Evasion blocking tanks, RBF blocking DD spells and other RBFs AND ex shot splash damage.

As much as I love my new toy, Talion is most probably right. GA should retaliate.

As is, I am pretty sure one can make an invincible team using the RoBF.
