AoI versus Decay (in General)

Does an AoI fool Decay? I can never remember. :/

It fools the RBF doesn't it?

lostling October 1 2007 10:25 AM EDT

doesnt

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] October 1 2007 10:26 AM EDT

TY! :)

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] October 1 2007 10:27 AM EDT

it's decay's only real use

BootyGod October 1 2007 12:39 PM EDT

Yup. I realized this a few days ago. Now, if only decay would work in ranged and make it a good spell, instead of a novelty item.

Decay is a great spell if you get enough castings off. On high HP teams without GA, my base decay does over 1 million HP worth of damage.

fight novice and tell me it's a novelty item.

QBRanger October 1 2007 4:38 PM EDT

All DD spells ignore AoI.

QBRanger October 1 2007 4:39 PM EDT

Duh, By ignore I meant are not effected by one.

BootyGod October 1 2007 6:34 PM EDT

Ummm... edyit... you can't show one character that uses something and say it's good because they use it well...

QBRanger October 1 2007 6:37 PM EDT

Ummm..
GW, decay is perfect in the situation Novice uses it.

That is using a AoE DD spell like CoC or FB to take out the lower hp enchanters/blockers in front, then letting the decay rip through the tank/mage.

Combined with GA, it is a very effective strategy.

BootyGod October 1 2007 8:06 PM EDT

Of course. And one of the very, very few that decay works so well with. Novelty doesn't mean bad.

Fanta [Fanta's Forge] October 1 2007 10:18 PM EDT

It usually does. That's why we call JKF's novelties :P
