RoBF strat fun, opinions wanted.... (in General)

So before the big changes to RoBF and such, I was in the process of starting a single UC minion, but with the recent changes figured Iメd try to incorporate RoBF into the strategy. So far its been working, but I feel that my exp is being diluted too much and that the RoBF may be hurting me more than helping.

An idea was to drop UC for evasion, AMF for DM, and picking up a SoD/exp shots and being a ranged killer with a RoBF. The tat would protect me from most DD, and help increase my evasion. DM would be to stop the GA from completely destroying me. If the fight goes into melee, then the tat would mostly go for the killing blow, with the SoD just contributing.

Any thoughts / opinions or am I just stretching to use the RoBF that is not just a pure Eva/amf/hp strat?

"The tat would protect me from most DD"

I dunno about lower levels, but while the damage reduction is significant, I don't think it would protect you from most DD.

A single minion will probably still get eaten alive by DDs, especially by CoC and FB.

Imo, the RoBF's DD reduction shines when you split the damage between two or more minions.

I would think the RBF would work excellent on a character that uses a nice sized AMF. To lower the potential DD damage to then let the RBF take over.

At least that is how Bamf is doing it, with excellent results.
