The price of DBs has been steadily increasing since September. The current DBs in auction are going for about double the price they would have sold for in August. Take a look at the expired auctions. Any particular reason for this?
Mmm, not sure. Lack of supply with an increase in demand? Or maybe there are more mage teams looking for a way to increase their effectiveness through NW increase?
Seems that all but 1 pair were bought in the last 2 months by a NUB character.
Since BA for NUB's are free, my guess would be they have more spare money lying around. Since CB is a "must have it now" type of game, they bid whatever it takes to get a nice shiny pair of DB"s. Even if it really does not help their strategy and/or fightlist.
DB prices are tooo high.....not only did i miss my NUB(stopped playing cb once i made account and started again after my NUB ended), now NUB BA is free and the get 360 free BA a day along with the regular 160...imma be so poor now..!!
DBs are the one item everyone seems to want without realizing (usually too late) that they're better off with something else or can't afford to keep the DBs at a sizable level for their mpr.
As for NUBs - they actually have less money than they used to. While buying BA is now free, fight rewards have also been reduced by 40% for NUBs.
A NUB who bought all his BA before the change would theoretically have equal net fight rewards as an NUB who buys all his BA now.
Basically, modern NUBs are no richer than pre-change NUBs. Actually some are poorer, since past NUBs often didn't buy all their BA in order to save money for NCB..
Inflation anybody? Due to the rise in Nub's and their cash... all the prices of normal everyday rares is steadily rising. I'm seeing base items going for in the millions when a few months earlier they went for 500k or less. Take a look at the SC in auctions, the price of that is going up into the million range when just earlier base or near base ones went for 500k.
they are actually earning more... due to the randomness in the past... buying BA was often a good way to lose money even if you had 100% challenge bonus
