Can't Join Clan, Why? (in General)

I'm trying to join Legion. It has 6 members. A PR limit of over 1.5 million. But it won't let me join. This message is given upon trying to accept me:All of the applicants were rejected because they would have put us over the limit. I'm stumped.

Any ideas?

are you joining with oduten? if so isn't his pr higher than the 1.5, like 1.8 or so?

I've tried unequipping Tat to bring him well under. But to my knowledge it doesn't actually operate off of PR, but VPR.

It is based on VPR, not PR or MPR.

ranger: is that even correct....when i started my N*B clan it had room for ... 200m "PR" but right on the page it says thats not the actual pr you can accept...anyway i doubt i even accepted 20m mpr...and we filled up

It's not linear. My clan hasn't even hit 6 mil MPR and we're filled.

It is based on VPR, the number only shows you how much you can accept on a single character, not as a whole

Yeah. Just me trying to join a clan with less than that number in trained and untrained MPR. So.... Why can't I get in? ^.^

All I can suggest it to unequip EVERYTHING, move it to another character, then try joining.

I'm still convinced that the PR of all your active chars are counted as a whole.
And all of yours put together put you over the limit of 1.5 MPR the clan can accept.
Even though some people will disagree on this, imo it is the only logical answer.

Nope. There's a bug here but that is not it.

So Jon,

If there is a bug, can you manually put his character into the clan so we can end this thread?

Jon's much busy doing other things at the moment (as far as his message was in chat last night); I'm sure he'll fix it when he has time.

Oddly, the max accepted PR ha fallen to 900k or so. With no notable changes tlan.




Uhhh... What's going on?

So yeah, my Max PR went from 99.7m down to 29.6m after accepting GW into my Clan. The limit should really have it formula reworked...

well I hope you weren't expecting it to only go down by a mil and a half or so, but once re-theming is done, is there any chance that max PR acceptable can be put in a more calculable form? Or at the very least, is there some sort of convoluted formula we can follow? All the guesswork and issues arising from it is quite the hemorrhoid...

On that note, I'm closing my portion of the thread. There is STILL a bug in clans, but whatever. I joined another clan. A 600k PR limit shift for NO reason is too much for me to stand.
