Does anyone else dread the impending changes to the left bar? (in General)

Nothing seems to have been done correctly so far, so why should we believe we aren't going to lose half of the functionality of what our left bar can currently do?

If these changes are all in the name of getting this game to Facebook I'm out. Putting something in a package that's half as good as your original package just so you can reach a wider audience doesn't mean that's the "right" thing to do. I can understand the want for more players (or in Jon's mind, the want for more capital), but what I can't understand is why you can't market a good game as it was. Turning it into a lesser version of itself isn't going to help the market feel any different.

I am not dreading yet, mainly because I can't see how tabs could be used. *smile*

Then again, they aren't usable for Home and Train pages either, so I guess we will have to see.

Strangely, the left pane is what I use the LEAST, except for C-Enter. I'm pretty sure C-Enter won't get broken (if it does, bye bye CB for me), so that is another reason I am not too worried.

In my case, it will depend on how much we can then customize and theme "Carnage 2.0." Because, while I like the new auctions and train page A LOT (Except for the one minion at a time thing.), I think home is a lot worse than before. Not because of the tabs, I can get used to that, but because it just does not look good compared to the old one.

But, dread may not be the word when it comes to cosmetics. If the game dynamics stay the same...I'll just adapt, once again.

i can't wait. i am excited about change in general and i am very happy to see jon spending more time with the game. i had feared we lost him to corporate america and capitalism for a while there.

i do tend to be a glass half-full type though!

I do like the new look.

However being able to view your entire character on the homepage AND the train page is a necessity.
