Indeed. Wasn't the election two months ago or so? Novice's tag is delayed ;)

Nobody did anything special enough to deserve the QB tag for the last 3 months

I can say that about of number of QBs who DID get it. It's always been a popularity contest.

The only ones who actually did something to physically change the game were Verifex and Pixel. You could say that only them two have contributed, even though people think Pixel was undeserving.

Flamey, what? How can you physically change a virtual game?

It is true that only Verifex and Pixel have impacted the gameplay, but the other QBs have all had an impact on the game. Can you deny that Sut, Bast and Sefton have done nothing to the game? Have you never been impressed by Ranger's many milestones? Have you never taken part in one of Barzoo's great contests? Have you never laughed at (I mean, with!) GL, JW or OB? Sorry Pit, I think you do something in chat, but I don't know what ;)

Honestly, all of our QBs deserve their titles.

But back to the topic, where's our new QB?

Sorry, Mael, gameplay was the word I was looking for. I was writing the post with the logic that Draco was saying. I know full well what each and every one of the QBs have done and I do believe that they deserve their title.

I'm pretty sure NS won the popularity vote once? And I'm definite on the fact Sefton has won the popularity vote and not been made QB.

I don't think I ever did any better than 3rd in the popularity vote, myself...

Sometimes popularity within a select few people is enough to win it. That's not to say that most of the QBs aren't worthy. Most are. Of course, there are always a few exceptions...

But Jon picked not one, but TWO people that time who were not Sefton. It wasn't until several QB's later that Sefton actually got it.

I don't think how the QB process works was the point of this thread....it was more of a 'Where's our new QB at?' kinda thing.

Agreed NSFY both have deserved it in the past... and have not received it. But Seft does have it and NS does not... why?

About NS:

It is not wise to call out the creator of the game and/or his admins for things you believe to be unfair. Some people play things close to the vest, others (like NS) state their feeling about things openly. Probably not the wisest thing to do, but it is how he is. And I respect him greatly for it. He is the type of person that will tell you the truth to your face. Unfortunately, quite a few times this was directed to admins (most of who no longer are admins/active).

I do believe if I did not get QB as early in the game as I did, I would never have become one, even with 100% of the popular vote. As I believe NS will never become a QB for the reasons above.

I voted for NS, but he didn't get it for a relatively solid reason. He had been banned the same quarter. I mean... Kinda DUHHHH in hindsight...

can we get an admin to chime in and tell us what's up? It's almost time for 4th quarter..
