NUB Forging, Why? (in General)

How are your average forgers who only miss two batches of BA a day suppose to compete with those pesky NUB forgers who get a bonus and free ba?

I average of 300k NW a day with a 1.3 million MPR character. While my competition, i.g. gbeta, has 1.1 mil MPR and can forge up to 1.8 million NW a day or Meteor Hawk who has 200k MPR and forging upwards to 850k a day.


What significance does the NUB have for forging? Please explain this to me because i feel as though I'm missing something.

don't forget that meteor hawk even misses about half of his regen'd BA just about every day while maintaining these numbers... if he were to not miss any, he'd be closer to 1.3m nw /day. And yes, you, and many other non-NUB forgers are missing something... A market...

If it helps, I'm only forging my own stuff. Also, with my weird sleep schedule at college I tend not to miss much BA... 4-9am and 5pm-9pm for the past three days.

I don't see this as an attack of NUB forgers, and I don't think Sir Leon meant it that way either, so there is no need to defend your forging, as we'd all be doing the same thing in you guys' shoes... We're just commenting that the bonus seems a bit excessive...

However, I suppose one clear way to prove that it is broken is simply the fact that as Ranger gains MPR, new people forge even better. The forging bonus there's no reason for it be based off of this is there?

I'm just a little upset nothing has been done about this yet. These people are forging up to 6 times the amount i can and my character is larger.How is it that Meteor can forge up to 4 time his MPR? That's just insane.

It's really time for some answers or reasoning behind this because us veteran forgers can not keep up. Forging doesn't even seem appealing to me after seeing some of these numbers.

I dont miss any BA when i forge, hell ill even buy BA to finish off a cycle or to get past 100% RPM and im still always beneath the same 5 NUB forgers...

I could really go for a clan who fights with regen BA and uses free BA to forge...

But this "Bonus" to NUBs is ridiculous if this game is supposed to be all about fighting. People who are at the top either BS'd their equipment or had people forge their things for them. So this "race" to the top needs a bonus to forging why? Since when has there been a forging race to #1?

But im probably not going to forge anybody's things until i see that NUBs rates go up, because forging for 50% is just INSANE! Forgers (like me, with no bonus) are to make a profit with a measly 50%? I do not think so. Besides, who would want me to forge their equipment for twice as much for a longer period to get it done in?

Down with this bonus and im still all for my idea of getting rid of the BS for a majority of the items. Kind of like Elven gear, but the other way around.

Problem solved in anywhere from tomorrow to 4 months.
