Something amiss with AoI or pth? (in General)

I use a +101 VB, Lochnivar's only pth reduction comes from his AoI (I'm aware he has a RoBF, but it has been proven not to work)... this should allow me to hit him 81% of the time. I just ran 15 battles against him, and was able to hit his tank (I removed enchanter shots):

6 / 12, 6 / 14, 5/8, 6/13, 6/11, 5/14, 7/12, 6/13, 5/7, 7/13, 6/17, 6/12, 6/13, 7/11, 6 / 14

Totaling to 90/184... This is just under 49%... If the RoBF is "fixed" then i shouldn't hit at all. If not, I should be hitting over 60% more often than i do now... Either something's wrong, or Lochnivar is the luckiest guy in CB when it comes to randomness :P

more data would be nice...

What size is his RoBF?
What is the dex situation?

Lochnivar January 24 2008 12:37 AM EST

as far as Dex goes..... by my math the respective EC's result in:
Hatchet - 1mil dex
Loch + 120k

might have something to do with it

Maybe the RBFs evasion properties work without evasion or just do not stack properly.

Karn has a larger RoBF than Lochnivar, I was put to negative DX (any negative to DX or ST is counted as 1, i believe). I hit every time with my VB... So RoBF size is negligable, as is his DX gap... Only out factor here is the AoI... perhaps it is doing more than advertised (I won't say "more than it should" as it doesn't seem overly/underly powerful either way)...

and about negative DX, The Four Kings, and Slot Machine both put me into negative DX, causing full DX gap there, and i still hit them every round...

So that's proof pth will hit without DX right there ^_^

only possibly reason for me missing Loch is that AoI is removing a good 50 pth or so :P

Never mind, AoI is fine. Loch was graceful enough to take off his tat, and I was hitting him closer to 80-85% of the time... That would mean that the RoBF is removing an additional 30 or so pth... but its 48m and named, which means his RoBF should work like +103s...

So the RoBF is underpowered I guess :P

(NOTE: It was a joke... this doesn't need to be another "RoBF is overpowered!" thread :P
