I appologize in Advance (in General)

I hate defensive ammo, but I feel it's the only way to stop chars 1/3 my mpr killing me because of stupid evasion. So I decided that if they want to farm me they will have to do it while I'm fighting. They will no longer be able to use evasion to do it while I'm gone. To all those that this changes the outcome of our fight and you were close to my mpr and beating me normally I do appologize, but until something is done so that a char can't just train evasion and kill me at 600k mpr when I'm 1.7 mil mpr and my pr is over 2.3 mil and theirs is 800k .. then I will continue to use this stupidly upgraded ammo while on defense.

This is the entire reason for defensive ammo. Single tanks have always been the victim of specialized strats at a much lower MPR, defensive ammo allows these massive behemoths to clan fight without being pummeled to death. Don't say sorry... let out a hearty HA HA (obligatory Nelson voice) and get down with your bad self.

How does it differ than regular ammo???

Sorry for the ignorance, I play CB pretty regularly, but don't often get involved in the forums or chat...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't one just boost his/ her own dispel magic to concur the evil evasion ability?

And No, evasion is a skill and therefore non-dispellable..

DM doesn't do anything to evasion and defensive ammo is upgraded ammo that you only equip when you aren't fighting. oh and yes. i'm more appologizing to myself and people around my mpr that will now lose to me while i'm offline that should still be beating me.

Oh and these evasions aren't just specialized to kill a solo archer or solo tank. they pretty much can kill any archer based team or tank based team. it's not possible to hit them really, but that's for a different thread. So yeah. This was more for me because I hate doing it.

Evasion is a skill, and nothing affects kills directly. (though ethereal chains does damage evasion a bit)

I started using defensive ammo for the same reason that Sox is talking about. I also use it for those who have twice my PR and MPR and farm me everyday. The logic being that if I do get a win (although the chance is small) it hurts them alot more than it does me. I don't care for this approach to the problem of evasion. I only know it works.
