Recent battles page/Clan quick link (in General)

Um, I use this to keep track of who I fought, in lieu of the fight list? Lol?

And another problem, if you just click on the "Clans" quick link, it takes you to a choice page, why not link it directly to the "your clan" page (if you are in one), or the join page (if not)?

Sorry, but the simple truth is, Jon isn't going to increase the strain on the server to help non-supporters. Just get supportership ^.^

You don't need to refresh the fight-log page more than 400 times a day. If you keep refreshing the page today, try clicking it less tomorrow. :)

try keeping the recent battle page open and open new tab, that should allow you to not refresh.

Yeah solved that problem, just opened a couple of pages more. And really, about the "Clans" link...

I can see how this might happen for a heavily farmed character.
"Hmm, I want to burn some BA. I wonder if I'm being farmed ..."
Recent Battles->Mine
"Yep"
...
"Hmm, how about now ?"
Recent Battles->Mine
"Yep"
...
Repeat this for a couple of hours while BA builds up and so on.
"Okay, they've gotta be out of BA by now!"

I don't think you all understand what he was doing. He was refreshing the Fight Log page, using that as his favorites list.

400 times a day is ...

- Once every 9 minutes during a 24 hours period.
- Once every 4.5 minutes during a 12 hours period.
- Once every 2.25 period during a 6 hours period.

If you are a supporter and you need to click the Recent Battles link once every 2.25 minutes during 6 hours a day, then Jon is doing you a favor by pulling the plug.

Don't click. Hover.
Then select any one of the links you want to navigate to. I use "View standard" as often as I use "My clan". If the change was implemented as per your request it would reduce choice, not increase it. It's fine the way it is :)

I have done the same thing several times until I am able to get a suportership. However it may be wise to take the above line into consideration. don't whine become a suporter.

I agree. Become a supporter. It's well worth it and Talion's numbers bring into light just how frantic that activity level is.

To avoid this problem before I became a supporter, I would not completely refresh the "Recent Battles" page. What I did was fight the people I wanted so they were grouped together in my "Recent Battles." Once I had those 7-12 people lined up, I would Inspect and Fight. After the battle, I would press [Backspace] twice to bring me back to the "Recent Battles" page. This way, I was able to avoid the limited 400 quota by not actually having to reload the "Recent Battles" page. I was able to fight efficiently for over 750 battles a day, only to reload the "Recent Battles" page 10 or so times whenever I logged on.
